At Raiz, children develop projects within the HighScope routine, always starting from their own curiosities. First, we gather what we already know about a topic, what we want to find out, and we think together: how can we learn more?
From there, the project grows. This is exactly what happened in the Pinheiro Room, where an interest in means of transport was always present. We then decided to embark on a journey through this vast world, which began by stepping back in time during a visit to the National Coach Museum. Then, with the help of the donkeys from Magoito, we experienced some of the first means of transport: riding donkeys and ponies. We continued our journey to the Carris Museum, where we discovered the first horse-drawn public transport and took an unforgettable trip on a century-old tram.

Because learning this way is exploring, experimenting, creating, and discovering… together!
