“The Neighborhood is our school.”
And every Friday, the Pre-School classes go out to experience it in the first person.
We believe in learning that happens in connection with the real world — where the body moves, the senses awaken, and curiosity finds its space. Climbing trees, observing animals and plants in their habitat, riding a bicycle or a scooter, exploring parks, libraries, or museums… it is all part of an intentional journey of active learning.
Without ever losing sight of the importance of the classroom and the routine, which provide structure, security, and depth to what is experienced. It is in this balance — between inside and outside — that learning gains meaning.
Because learning happens everywhere. And it grows when it makes sense.
