It doesn’t wander for 10km before arriving on children’s plates!

We thus guarantee that all food is homemade, cooked with local and fresh produce and with our grandmothers’ recipes, adapted to current nutrition knowledge. Homemade and traditional food’s taste that has been experimented with for over 20 years.

Our great investment in food and nutrition guarantees the array of menus that our community’s diversity requires.

We know parents don’t always have time to prepare their children’s meal at night, as some would like, and must resort to pre-cooked meals. That’s why we guarantee that children’s food during the day is cooked that same day at the school with local and fresh produce.

We have three different menus to respond to the school’s parents and children’s different interests and habits. Each school year, you can select the menu your child is most interested in. Our Fresh Menu is included in the monthly fee. We thus have:

Three balanced and complete menus based on the principles of healthy nutrition – a complete, balanced, and varied diet, following the recommendations of the National Program for the Promotion of Healthy Eating, of the Directorate-General of Health.

Parents who prefer to do so may also bring food from home.

 

  • Fresh Menu

    Fresh Menu: This menu includes a variety of fresh products, with dishes mainly prepared with white meats, fish, and vegetables. It also includes red meat and some processed foods.

    Main Dish – Stewed beans with meat (beef and chicken) and carrot rice
    Diet – Hake fillets with boiled potatoes and carrots (4)
    Dessert – Fruit

    Tuesday
    Soup – Leek cream soup / Pumpkin cream soup (diet option)
    Main Dish – Oven-baked cod with carrots and tomato salad (3, 4, 7)
    Diet – Hake fillets with boiled potatoes and carrots (4)

    Wednesday
    Soup – Green bean soup / Carrot cream soup (diet option)
    Main Dish – Grilled hamburgers with pasta and lettuce & carrot salad (1, 3)
    Diet – Grilled hamburgers with pasta and boiled carrots

    Thursday
    Soup – Pea cream soup / Zucchini cream soup (diet option)
    Main Dish – Tuna lasagna with sautéed vegetables (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
    Diet – Boiled pasta with boiled fish and boiled cauliflower
    Dessert – Fruit

    Friday
    Soup – Cauliflower and white bean soup (12) / Cauliflower cream soup (diet option)
    Main Dish – Chicken stroganoff with mushrooms, white rice, and lettuce and/or red cabbage salad (7, 12)
    Diet – Boiled pasta with boiled fish and boiled cauliflower
    Dessert – Fruit

  • Fresh Menu Plus 1

    This menu is designed for children and adolescents with certain digestive, metabolic conditions and/or food allergies, as well as some types of specific dietary restrictions. It is based on minimally processed foods and excludes red meat.

    Main Dish – Flounder in the oven w/ flavored potatoes and boiled cauliflower (4)

    Soup – Broccoli soup/ Lettuce soup (diet)
    Main Dish – Baked chicken breast w/ herbs w/ carrot rice and tomato salad
    Diet – Natural stewed chicken w/ carrot rice

  • Fresh Menu Plus 2

    It’s an Ovolactovegetarian menu. It excludes meat and fish (and their derivatives) and includes eggs and dairy products. Cereals, vegetables, fruit, pulses, nuts, and seeds are the common foods for the various types of vegetarian diets.
