Nature

Nature

Students learn to preserve nature by falling in love with it.

Children need to be involved with nature in order to love it, to captivate it, to let themselves be captivated, and to create symbiosis with it, making respect and care for the environment natural.

Here too, the child learns by doing.

We promote this close contact inside the classroom, outside the school, and in the natural spaces near the school.

Animal Friendly

Children and staff who have animals regularly bring them to school so that classmates can get to know them and see them as members of the family. Animals are often found in the classrooms and playground, and many spend entire days at Raiz.

Vegetable Garden

We have a vegetable garden that is cared for by everyone. Students are involved in the whole process, from buying the soil to delivering the vegetables to the kitchen team.

Companion Plants

Every classroom has at least one companion plant. Each class creates its own routines for caring for the plant. They know its preferences and with a careful eye, they decide the best place, the right amount of water, the time to fertilize, among others.
